Learning Together, a nonprofit developmental day school for young children with and without developmental delays, is excited to announce the 2018 Triangle Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown on March 24, 2018. The fundraiser, which is a bracket-style tournament of the age-old game of rock, paper, scissors, will be held at Big Boss Brewing Co. in Raleigh. All proceeds will benefit Learning Together. “In a community with so many great nonprofits and fundraising events happening on a regular basis, the Triangle Rock Paper Scissors Showdown is unique and stands apart from your typical walk/run, wine dinner, or golf tournament,” said Executive Director, Kathy Peterson. Teams can buy a General Admission ticket for $100 per team, which includes a bracket slot, access to the buffet catered by Southland Barbeque, and a Triangle RPS t-shirt. VIP tickets are available for $400 per team, which further includes drink tickets, catered unlimited drinks, addition food options from Southland Barbeque, access to the VIP viewing area, a team listing on the night of event sponsor board, and priority bracket placement. Tickets for participants are on sale now at New in 2018, we are excited to announce the addition of Preliminary Tournaments at some of your favorite local bars in Downtown Raleigh, and Corporate Qualifiers, where your office can host its own preliminary tournament to make a game of rock paper scissors into a team-building activity that supports your philanthropic giving. These events will cost $10/person and will allow you and your peers and/or colleagues to battle it out in teams of 4 to earn a spot at the main event on March 24th. These various bars, breweries, and restaurants will be the hosts of our Preliminary Tournaments: The Station at Person Street on March 1st, Raleigh Beer Garden on March 8th, and Lynnwood Brewery on March 13th.
