The Federal Theater Project (part of the Works Progress Administration) put on plays in at least 20 states during the Depression. Circus performers, vaudeville jugglers, and soon-to-be-famous playwrights and actors all took part. Hear about the project and North Carolina’s role in it on July 7th from 12:10 – 1pm at the North Carolina Museum of History. Bring your lunch and join us.
